The Adventures Continue

One of the questions that comes up most is, "What's next?"

God reveals things as needed. The key is in surrender every day and be ready.

God doesn't waste any time.

On the previous post I mentioned that we were going through the 7 day study and that it was going well and we were thinking of how to make it available for everyone who is interested.

In the last couple of days, some doors have been opened, some closed, then others opened. Isn't that the way it works?

In our discussions, one of the ideas was to have a retreat, away from it all, for a couple of days, at least an over-night. We considered the facilities at Our Lady of Guadalupe Abbey in Pecos, otherwise known as the Pecos Benedictine Monastery.

Upon looking into it, we were informed that they were booked through November of 2024 and partially booked in 2025.

Next.... I looked into several other places, until the memory kicked in, and I remembered a place in the Sangre de Cristo Wilderness that I had heard great things about from those who have been there. After a few phone calls... God opens doors. More details to come.

We are excited to lock in some dates and reserve the facility. It is in the forest and off of a dirt road. We were told that a 4 wheel drive is recommended or a truck at the very least. We can also take RV's up there if they can handle the roads. I will know more about the roads soon.

It sounds absolutely wonderful for a Retreat! A few of us will be going to look at the facility this week, God willing.

You guessed it! There will be pictures coming. We are looking at a 2 1/2 day retreat, starting on a Friday evening, all day Saturday and ending midday Sunday. Let's see how it all unfolds.
