Blessings

Greetings to ALL.
We were blessed from both sides this morning.
Right before the sun came out, the moon was settling over the mountains to the West.

A few minutes later, the sunrise was calm and beautiful in the East.

We are surrounded by God's peace.
It's been a while. I pray you are all doing well.
Many wonderful blessings since the last post. Too many to share in one post.
Let's just say, God has been moving and shaking.
Many have asked about retreats.
We didn't have a Fall Retreat this year. Our parishioners wanted to focus on our patron saints feasts. We have four churches, thus four patron saints (make that five because one of our churches has two).
We had wonderful Fiestas to celebrate the Feast Days, San Antonio in the beginning of June, Sts. Peter and Paul at the end of June, and Our Lady of Mount Carmel in the Middle of July. Yes, all back to back. Our fourth one is St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and her feast day in in January.
It has been great! God blessed us with a wonderful turnout and celebration with games and great food. The people in these communities gave of their gifts and talents and provided all the food free, as well as the games and prizes. How cool is that right!
I also built a new Parish Website. You are welcome to visit at EstanciaValleyCatholic.church. Pictures and videos of the Fiestas are available if you want to take a look. Click on each church "Learn More" button to see each church's Fiesta info.

Needless to say, there was not enough time to organize a retreat.
I am praying about having a retreat soon. I'm thinking of planning to have a 3-Day Retreat as we did last year. It's nice to really get away from it all for a while, don't you think?
I am considering having it at a new facility built this last year by one of the participants at the last retreat in the Pecos Mountains.
I will keep you posted on the planning and progress.
Meanwhile, I pray you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday enjoying all of God's blessings.

Beautiful pictures Geri. Thank you for sharing them and for your efforts in getting "the hang" of doing our new bulletin. Happy Thanks Giving if I should fail to see you at SEAS.
