Retreat/Workshop Questions:

Q: Are all the retreats the same?

A: Each retreat is different. The retreat/workshop in August is both a retreat and workshop. We will be working together to develop strategies to strengthen and support our families and communities.

Q: Is this retreat only for women?

A: This retreat is for both men and women.

Q: Is there an age requirement?

A: The intent for this retreat/workshop is to discover and implement ideas that can be used within the family and our communities. We encourage teens, young adults and adults to participate.

Q: Is it ok if I wait and register at the door on the day of the retreat?

A: We have a limit on the amount of participants we can have due to Covid restrictions and the size of the facility. Seats go fast. For previous retreats, all seats were taken as close as a week before the day of the retreat. It is best to register a.s.a.p. to make sure there is a seat available.

Q: If I want to bring my teenage daughter and two of her friends do I need to register all of them before the retreat?

A: Yes, please register online or call to reserve seats. If you do not register everyone you want to bring, there may not be seats available the day of the retreat/workshop.

Q: Is the donation required for every participant? What if there are 4 or 5 in a family?

A: The suggested donation is to help cover the costs for meals, etc. But it is not a requirement to participate. Just let us know and we will work with you when you call.

Q: What do I need to bring?

A: The only thing required is your smile. We provide water, snacks, coffee, tea, and lunch. We also provide something to write on and pens if you want to take notes.

Q: Can I bring a friend.

A: YES, please register as many friends as you want to bring. Remember seats go fast. Register early to make sure we reserve a seat for all of you.

Q: Will there be a Mass?

A: There is a regularly scheduled Mass at 4:00 p.m.. Participants will be encouraged to join us at Mass and will return to the Parish Hall after Mass for the conclusion of the retreat/workshop. Basically the Mass is incorporated as part of the retreat/workshop.

Q: Do you always have Confession and Adoration at each retreat?

A: We have been blessed to have both Confession and Adoration available at all of the retreats.
